Exhaust Cam shaft adjuster (Nockenwellenversteller) - anyone able to confirm if normal movement? (3.2 AXZ VR6)

Currently doing the chains on my 06 Passat V6 with the 3.2 VR6 (code: AXZ) engine.

Can anyone confirm the movement of this exhaust cam adjuster is "normal" in the "locked" position, or should it be 100% "stuck".

kinda seem like it will go a bit towards exhaust side again when in car, but this is the movement distance of it.


If someone have a video of a new one that shows the same that would also be of interest.

If I need a new one can I use from a R36 instead ?.
